Protecting confidential business information and trade secrets is essential to the success and reputation of CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. Employees may have access to sensitive information as part of their work, and this information must be handled responsibly and kept confidential.

What this includes

Confidential information may include, but is not limited to:

  • computer systems, processes, and source code
  • customer lists and customer preferences
  • financial information and business records
  • marketing strategies and business plans
  • pending projects and proposals
  • research and development activities
  • technological designs, prototypes, and data
  • proprietary methods or production processes

Employee responsibilities

All employees are required to respect and protect confidential company information as a condition of employment. Information obtained through work at CFTS.CO (U) Ltd. must not be disclosed to external parties or used for personal benefit without proper authorisation.

Possible consequences

Improper use or disclosure of confidential business information or trade secrets may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment. In certain cases, legal action may also be pursued, even if the employee does not personally benefit from the disclosure.
